**Key Details**

• Working Pattern: Part-time, 20 hours per week
• Days: 2 days per week, Wednesday and either Thursday or Friday
• Shifts: 8:00 am – 6:30 pm or 10:00 am – 8:30 pm
• Weekends: 1 in 6, paid in addition to salary
• Weekend Shifts: 8:00 am – 7:00 pm or 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
• OOH: None
• Sole Charge: None
• Duties: Consultations, inpatient and ward care, with optional routine surgery
• Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract
• Salary: Up to £32,000 pro rata (£64,000 FTE), dependent on experience

**About the Practice**

• This is an RCVS-accredited, two-site small animal practice based in Bury and Bolton, with a 24-hour A&E hospital. The practice offers a broad and fast-paced caseload and is equipped to provide a high standard of patient care with digital radiography, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory.
• The wider team includes 14 Veterinary Surgeons, including certificate holders, alongside 20 RVNs, Student Nurses and Animal Care Assistants, as well as 13 support colleagues. The culture is team-focused, with an emphasis on clinical standards, continuous learning, and a supportive working environment. The practice also provides out-of-hours services to local member clinics, contributing to the varied caseload seen during the day team’s work.
