About the Role:

• The client is seeking a capable Veterinary Surgeon to provide night cover for small animal cases across a defined run of dates. The locum will manage emergency consultations, stabilise and monitor inpatients, and coordinate handovers with the day team.
• The role will require confident decision-making, clear communication, and a calm approach to out-of-hours workflow. Candidates should be comfortable working autonomously overnight with access to support when required. Experience with triage, analgesia, fluid therapy, and routine emergency procedures will be expected.
