About the Role:

• The client is seeking a capable Registered Veterinary Nurse to provide locum support on an ongoing basis. The schedule will comprise 3–4 days per week, ideally with Tuesdays as a regular day off, and fixed shifts of 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
• The nurse will deliver a balanced caseload of consultations, inpatient care, anaesthesia, and theatre support.
• The role will suit an RVN who works confidently within a small team, communicates clearly, and contributes to smooth daily workflows. They expect an interest in patient-focused nursing clinics and adherence to high clinical standards.

About the Practice:

• The practice provides general medical and surgical services using modern equipment, including digital X-ray, ultrasound, tonometry, and a K-laser. The team comprises 2 Veterinary Surgeons, 1 RVN, 2 experienced SVNs, and 5 receptionists, with additional team members currently on maternity leave. It is situated within a retail park in Biggleswade with straightforward access to Cambridge, Luton Airport, and direct train links to London. The practice supports ongoing professional development through regular training opportunities and maintains extended opening hours to support client needs.
