Locum Small Animal Vet – Blackheath
Key Details:

– Working Days: 24 July, 27 July, and 31 July
– Hours: Flexible within practice opening times
– Duties: Consultations and routine surgical procedures, with potential exposure to exotics
About the Role:
The client is seeking a capable Locum Veterinary Surgeon to provide cover on selected dates. The role will include first-opinion consultations, routine soft tissue surgery, and case work-ups supported by in-house diagnostics. The locum will manage a varied small animal caseload and should be comfortable working both independently and within a collaborative team. Confidence with standard anaesthesia protocols and clear client communication will be required. Experience with exotics would be advantageous but not essential.
About the Practice:
The practice is a modern small animal clinic with an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, and ultrasound. The team includes experienced veterinary surgeons, qualified nurses, and supportive administrative staff.
