• Hours: Shifts of 8:00 am–5:00 pm, 9:00 am–6:00 pm, or 10:00 am–7:00 pm
• Duties: Theatre support and consultations, no weekends or OOH

About the Role:

• The client is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to provide reliable shift cover across the theatre and consults. The locum will work five 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday with no weekend or out-of-hours commitment. The role starts as soon as possible and is ongoing for the foreseeable future.
• The nurse will assist with surgical preparation and anaesthesia monitoring, deliver nurse clinics, maintain clinical areas, and support efficient patient flow. Confidence working within standard operating procedures and communicating clearly with the clinical team will be essential.

About the Practice:

• The practice provides comprehensive small animal care with preventive medicine, diagnostics, and routine to intermediate surgery. Facilities include an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, and ultrasound, supporting timely case work-ups and patient care. The multidisciplinary team comprises multiple veterinary surgeons and experienced nurses who collaborate to deliver consistent standards and a supportive working environment.
