About the Role:

The client is seeking a capable Locum Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to cover a series of ad hoc day shifts across spring and summer 2026. The rota includes weekend and weekday cover with varied day shifts. The role will involve a balanced caseload of consultations and routine surgeries, with the expectation that the locum will manage cases independently and communicate clearly with the clinical team. Confidence with standard procedures, good record-keeping, and a focus on client care will be essential. The locum will work within established clinical protocols and will collaborate with nursing and reception teams to ensure smooth workflow. Shifts may be based at the main site with occasional cover at a nearby branch.
