About the Role:

The client is seeking a capable locum Veterinary Surgeon to provide cover across specific December and January dates. The role will involve a mix of consultations, routine procedures, and collaboration with the clinical team to maintain continuity of care. The locum will work within defined hours, support the daily caseload, and contribute to efficient clinical workflows. Confidence with small animal first-opinion work is expected, with the ability to manage cases independently and communicate calmly with clients and colleagues.

About the Practice:

The practice is a small animal clinic in Clydach, serving Swansea and the surrounding communities. It is equipped with an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, and digital x-ray to support timely diagnostics and treatment planning. The clinical team comprises four experienced vets, supported by nursing and administrative staff, delivering services six days a week. The practice holds a special interest in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery and maintains a commitment to wildlife care and local community engagement.
