The Role:

• The working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30-18:30.
• Although they are looking for a full-time vet, the practice is open to discussing working patterns for the right person.
• There are no weekend shifts.
• No OOH work is required as a local referral centre provides cover.
• The practice closes every day for a lunch break, ensuring everyone gets time to rest and eat without being disturbed.

Ideal Candidate:

• The practice is looking for a candidate with clinical experience in first-opinion practice.
• The ideal candidate will be a great all-rounder who enjoys coaching and mentoring junior colleagues. The candidate should be keen to engage in driving the clinical services and standards forward and be enthusiastic to be involved in decision-making processes about the direction of care for patients.
• A passion for surgery would be particularly welcomed, and the practice supports further training, including certificates.

The Team:

• The dedicated and skilled team comprises two FTE Vets, a Practice Manager/RVN, three experienced RVNs, and two SVNs, along with valued admin colleagues.
• The practice offers a nurturing environment where the team members can pursue their clinical interests and develop their knowledge.
