Locum Veterinary Nurse – Maidenhead

A locum opportunity is available for a confident Registered Veterinary Nurse in Maidenhead from Monday 27 July 2026 until Friday 28 August 2026. This role offers flexible working patterns across the week, with the option of weekend support, making it a suitable opportunity for an RVN seeking short-term flexibility across August.

– Start Date: 27 July 2026

– End Date: 28 August 2026

– Working Pattern: 5 x 8 hour days with a 30 minute lunch, or 4 x 10 hour days with a 30 minute lunch

– Weekends: Some Saturday cover beneficial

– Saturday Hours: 9am – 6pm with a 1 hour lunch

**About the Role**

This is a locum position for a confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to support the team over a busy summer period. The role is available from the week commencing 27 July 2026 and continues throughout August.

The practice can accommodate either 5 x 8 hour days or 4 x 10 hour days, which provides a degree of flexibility to suit different working preferences. Some Saturday cover would also be beneficial.

This opportunity will suit an RVN who is comfortable stepping into a supportive team environment and providing reliable clinical support during the locum period.

**About the Practice**

This opportunity is based within a small animal practice in Maidenhead. The team requires additional RVN support from late July through to the end of August to help maintain clinical cover during this period.
