About the Role:

The client is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to provide locum cover ASAP to 13 February 2026. The nurse will support the clinical team across wards, theatre, and consultations, ensuring high standards of patient care and smooth daily workflow. The role will include monitoring anaesthesia, preparing and assisting with surgical procedures, administering medications, conducting nurse clinics, and supporting front-of-house as needed. The practice can accommodate four or five working days per week and welcomes nurses who work confidently within a busy first-opinion environment.

The practice provides comprehensive first-opinion care with modern facilities including digital x-ray and ultrasound. Services cover preventive healthcare, diagnostics, and routine surgeries. The team comprises veterinary surgeons, experienced nurses, and reception staff who work collaboratively to deliver consistent patient and client care. The practice operates Monday to Friday with Saturday mornings, and supports professional development through regular training opportunities.
