Permanent Veterinary Surgeon – Leicester

Key Details:

  • Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

  • Salary: Β£43,950–£58,312 per annum including allowances
  • Duties: Varied caseload across consultations and surgery with community-focused client care

About the Role:

  • The client is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy small animal service in Leicester. The role suits a qualified clinician who values variety, pragmatism, and strong client care.
  • The successful candidate will manage a broad caseload, make sound clinical decisions, and work collaboratively with a supportive multidisciplinary team. Clear communication and resilience will be important.
  • The service promotes work–life balance through flexible options and structured rotas.
  • Weekend work may be required, with enhanced pay and stand-down time during the week when applicable.
  • The position offers ongoing professional development, with a CPD allowance of one week and Β£1,000 per year, full RCVS fees covered, and access to internal CPD programmes and discounts for key industry events.
