About the Role:

• Our client is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse who will use their nursing skills to full effect across theatre, wards, and consulting support.
• The role will include admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics with capnography, recovering and discharging patients, and delivering high standards of inpatient care. Support is provided by ANAs and an SVN for patient preparation and theatre turnaround.
• Candidates should bring sound general nursing experience, confident communication, and a calm, down-to-earth approach with a genuine commitment to animal welfare. Newly qualified RVNs and experienced nurses will be considered.
• The rota provides a balanced work pattern with no out-of-hours or overnight checks and only 1 in 4 weekends.
• The practice supports professional development, including funded certificates, and encourages the pursuit of clinical interests.

About the Practice:

The practice operates from a purpose-built, RCVS-accredited site with separate dog, cat, and exotic wards. Facilities include three consulting rooms, a large treatment area, digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, Imagyst cytology, and capnography. Clinical services include an in-house advanced practitioner dermatology service and access to laparoscopy, with orthopaedic procedures supported by a peripatetic service. The team comprises vets, RVNs, an SVN, VCAs, and a welcoming front-of-house function.
